VEXA Moto Visits Poolehall Cafe with PKZ & Wizz Taking Rider Safety Directly to the Biking Community.

There are some things you can explain online.

And then there are things you really need to see working for yourself.

Recently, the VEXA Moto team headed to Poolehall Cafe at Poole Hall Fisheries near Bridgnorth alongside PKZ & Wizz for a day spent doing exactly what VEXA was created for – getting out into the motorcycle community, meeting riders face-to-face and showing people just how simple it can be to carry potentially vital emergency information.

It turned into a fantastic day for VEXA, with plenty of conversations, plenty of bikes and, most importantly, many riders signing up to VEXA after seeing the system demonstrated in front of them.

Taking VEXA Directly to Riders

Since launching VEXA, one of our biggest priorities has been getting out from behind the screen and meeting the people the system was actually designed to protect.

Poolehall was the perfect place to do it.

Surrounded by riders and bikes, we were able to demonstrate VEXA in a real-world environment rather than simply trying to explain it through an advert or social media post.

For many of the riders we spoke to, the moment everything clicked was when they saw a live demonstration.

Within seconds, they could see exactly how somebody could access a rider's chosen emergency information following an accident.

No app needs to be installed on the person scanning.

No complicated process.

Just a straightforward way of helping someone identify you and access the information you've chosen to make available when you may not be able to tell them yourself.

Seeing VEXA Working Makes the Difference

One of the things we learned from the day was just how powerful it is to put VEXA into somebody's hands.

We could show riders the VEXA Card and Keyring, let them scan the products themselves and then walk them through what happens when an emergency profile appears on their smartphone.

That's when the questions started.

"Can I put my medication on there?"

"Can I add my emergency contacts?"

"Can I change the information later?"

"What happens if I change bikes?"

And that's exactly the kind of conversation we want to be having.

VEXA isn't simply a tag or a card with somebody's details permanently printed onto it. It's a digital emergency information system designed around the rider, allowing their profile to contain the information they choose to make available in an emergency.

Once riders saw it working, many decided to join VEXA there and then.

We were also joined at Poolehall by PKZ & Wizz, who have been supporting VEXA and helping us introduce the system to more of the UK motorcycle community.

Having people alongside us who genuinely understand biking culture makes a massive difference.

VEXA isn't supposed to feel like something being sold at bikers.

It's something we're building with the biking community around us.

Days like Poolehall give us the opportunity to listen to riders, hear their questions, understand their concerns and see first-hand how people react to the system.

That feedback is incredibly valuable as VEXA continues to grow.

A Brilliant Motorcycle Community at Poolehall

Poolehall Cafe proved to be a fantastic location for the day.

Situated at Poole Hall Fisheries in Alveley near Bridgnorth, it's become a popular destination for motorcyclists and hosts regular motorcycle meets and bike nights.

And you can immediately understand why.

Bikes arriving, riders chatting, people checking out each other's machines and that familiar atmosphere you get when a group of bikers gets together.

For VEXA, that's exactly where we want to be.

We're not interested in building a motorcycle safety brand that only exists online.

We want to be at the bike cafes.

We want to be at the meets.

We want to be at the shows.

We want riders to pick VEXA up, scan it and see exactly what it does.

Because every time somebody sees the system working, the reason behind VEXA becomes much easier to understand.

What Happens If You Can't Tell Someone Who You Are?

It's the question at the heart of everything we're building.

Most of us ride with a smartphone in our pocket. Some carry identification. Some have emergency information configured on their phone.

But following a serious motorcycle accident, circumstances can be very different.

Your phone might be damaged.

It might be locked.

It might not be immediately accessible.

And you may not be in a position to answer questions yourself.

VEXA gives riders another way to carry the emergency information they want others to be able to access.

Information such as emergency contacts, allergies, medication and other important details can be stored within the rider's VEXA emergency profile and accessed through their VEXA products.

It's a simple idea.

But sometimes the simplest ideas can make the biggest difference.

More Riders Protected by VEXA

The best part of our visit to Poolehall wasn't simply getting photographs or creating content.

It was leaving knowing that more riders were protected by VEXA than when we arrived.

Every new rider who joins the system represents another person carrying a way for somebody to access their emergency information if the worst happens.

That's what matters to us.

VEXA is still at the beginning of its journey, and seeing riders engage with what we're building, ask questions, demonstrate it to their friends and ultimately decide they want to carry it themselves is something we're incredibly proud of.
