VEXA FOR UK EMERGENCY SERVICES
"If you find VEXA on a rider, here's what to do."
VEXA is a UK motorcycle rider protection system designed to make rider supplied emergency information accessible when a motorcyclist may be unable to communicate.
If you encounter VEXA equipment during a motorcycle incident, an Emergency Rider Profile can be accessed using a compatible smartphone.

Rider supplied information
What information could I see?
Depending on what information the rider has chosen to provide, their Emergency Rider Profile may contain information such as:
Information contained within VEXA is supplied and maintained by the rider.
VEXA information is not medically verified. Blood type displayed within VEXA should not replace normal NHS clinical procedures, testing, identification protocols or professional judgement.
VEXA provides rider supplied emergency information intended to assist emergency responders. Information should be considered alongside established emergency service procedures, clinical assessment and professional judgement.
Contacting the rider's emergency contact
Where the rider has provided emergency contacts, the VEXA Emergency Rider Profile can display those contacts and allow a telephone call to be initiated from the smartphone by tapping the displayed telephone control.
VEXA does not automatically contact relatives. Emergency services are not required to use this functionality. It is simply made available where the rider has chosen to share it.
